Hi, I'm Jasmine Adair Flood! Have you figured it out? RIADA is Adair backwards and in Spanish, riada = flood, which happens to be my last name!
I began making jewelry and doodling in elementary school. As a child I always wanted to be an artist when I grew up. I was able to cultivate my skills while earning a degree in Textile Design from North Carolina State University as a Park, Centennial Scholar, and Geoffrey Beene Scholar. After college, I decided to do the unexpected and follow my childhood dreams of becoming an entrepreneur and founded RIADA ADAIR in 2012.
I am inspired by my travels abroad, nature, and special moments. It is my goal to design beautiful art that forces us to be present, create products that uplift and inspire, and assist others in embracing their creativity and personal style.
I've been blessed to have had my products featured on ABC's Good Morning America, Zulily, and also in over 40,000 boxes for BirchBox Man. I also have been commissioned for public art, designed prints for brands like Disney™, Hello Kitty™ and Dora the Explorer™, and created exclusive lines for brands and companies.
My company exists because of people like you. I am thankful for a wonderful support system of family, friends, and mentors. I am ecstatic that you have taken the time to learn a little more about me and my company!
